Big Harbour Clean-Up Website is Live!
We’re pleased as punch to announce that the Big Harbour Clean-up website is now live. There’s lots of information online about the event which takes place on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th May. There’s a sign up form on the Get Involved page for participants (rubbish collectors, organisers and supporters) to get in touch and send in their details. There’s also a map online showing the collection points and a list of all the organisers (these are still to be added and will be updated as new or groups register their interest). We’ll keep the news page up to speed with the latest updates so you can see how things are progressing and we’ll also share these posts to our Facebook page; please like our page to get up-to-the-minute information at facebook.com/bigharbourcleanup.
The website, the Big Harbour Clean-up logo and the publicity have all been designed and produced for us without cost by Jen and Paul at Tidal Studios, a Poole-based website and graphic design company. We first met Jen and Paul at the Lytchett Bay Beach Clean we organised in November last year. Afterwards they said they were passionate about helping to clean the oceans (Jen is also, amongst other things, the eco-officer at Lake Yard Marina in Hamworthy) and they offered their design services for free. We’re very grateful to them and indeed to all the organisations that have voluntarily provided the Big Harbour Clean-up with valuable products and services.
